At Nansen Highland we recognise and value our organisation's quality and improvement culture and to continue building on those values in 2013 we established Nansen Training.


We became ITC First accredited First Aid training centre delivering SQA Accreditation regulated First Aid at Work courses in Inverness and on The Black Isle.


The emphasis of our courses is on a practical approach to teaching which means fewer slide shows and more opportunities for you to practice First Aid and therefore retain lifesaving skills!
The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 requires employers to make sufficient first aid provisions in the workplace depending on number of employees, sites, shift patterns etc.
Our First Aid at Work (3 days), First Aid at Work Refresher (2 days) and Emergency First Aid at Work (1 day) courses meet the requirements of the regulations so you can be sure you have adequate training.

ITC First is an awarding body which specialises in first aid courses.  They are regulated by SQA Accreditation in Scotland.
